Temporary road, infrastructure closures scheduled around Azalea Hall construction
Beginning Dec. 16, ongoing construction of Azalea Hall will impact vehicular and pedestrian traffic along Barr Avenue and Bailey Howell Drive.聽
Barr Avenue, from the Chapel of Memories to George Perry Street, will be closed Dec. 16-23 to complete necessary utility work for the new residence hall.聽
The closure also includes sidewalks and parking along the impacted portion of Barr Avenue and Bailey Howell Drive and parking behind the Chapel of Memories.
Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution while traveling through the area and follow designated detour routes.
